Your boat,
kept bright.

Fine yacht detailing on the back bays. Nineteen dollars a foot to bring her up, then six a foot each week to keep her there. Leave the boat at its slip. You never have to be there.

The Estimate

First detail

Weekly maintenance wash price after first detail
$144

That is the price. Nothing else added.

All I need at your slip is a water spigot and a standard 120‑volt outlet.

The Work

Boats finished at their slips, on the bays between Longport and Strathmere. A different one every time you look.

A Scout dual console tied up at its slip, hull and stainless rails cleaned.
The aft cockpit of a Regal, seating and deck wiped down, the bay behind it.
Bow seating with the white vinyl cleaned and protected.
A helm after detailing: screen, wheel and console wiped clean.
Cockpit seating and flooring cleaned bow to stern.
The helm seat and windshield, glass cleared of salt.
A Yamaha outboard with the cowling cleaned and the salt washed off.
A Sailfish 275 alongside the dock, red hull polished and the hardtop canvas clean.
The helm and cockpit of the Sailfish under its hardtop, seating and console wiped down.
Bow seating on the Sailfish, white vinyl cleaned and the foredeck washed.

Rates

One rate to bring her up. A small one each week to keep her there.

The First Detail

The whole boat, bow to stern: hull, glass, metal polish, hardtop, anchor, dashboards, carpets, the full interior and the engine exterior — finished in wax.

$19per foot

Ceramic Coating

Added on top of a detail. It seals the finish so the salt has less to hold to, and the shine carries through the season.

+$5per foot

Weekly, standing

The Washdown

A standing weekly rinse and wipe that keeps the salt from ever setting in — decks, glass, rails and hull. Nothing to sign, and you may stop it whenever you like.

$6per foot, each week

Engine flush available where the setup allows it — mention it when you book. Serving Ocean City, Somers Point, Marmora, Longport, Margate, Strathmere and Sea Isle City.

How It Works

Three steps, and not one of them is a meeting.

  1. I

    Book it

Choose a date below, or telephone and I will put you down. Tell me the length of the boat and where she sits. That is the whole conversation.

  2. II

    The work

I arrive on the date and work while you are elsewhere. Your dock's water spigot and a standard 120‑volt outlet are all that I need.

  3. III

    Kept bright

You come back to a finished boat and a note to say it is done. No walk‑around, no waiting on me, no standing about on the dock.

The Company

Brightwork is the old word for the parts of a boat that are kept gleaming — the varnished rail, the polished stainless, the glass that throws back the light. It is the part of a vessel that shows whether anyone is looking after her.

Brightwork Marine Co. keeps boats on the Ocean City back bays. One published rate, no walk‑around, no standing on the dock. You book a date, and the boat is seen to.
